Alic, duo Volker and Adam, based in Freiburg and Berlin, Germany are a clash of electronic influences devolving itself into a psychadelic techno sound. 'Ma Soul' is the latest thumping offering evolving a twisted grooving beat with techno overlays and reworked by Anyer Quantum and Welovebass remixes for effective dance floor results. 'Ma Soul' has all artists creating a hypnotic effect, direct, surrounding and all en-compasing, a quality tecno sound twisted and turned to awake your sonic senses....

Denmark's Muggi Dane has created an impeccable reputation for quality in guiding the Tech Tales series for epp records and creating solo releases of electro techno tracks with 100% groove effect. Sept. 14, 2016 | Multi Tul: Badlands

 

 

 

 

 

Epp records are proud to release the debut ep of Multi Tul 'Badlands' which sees Germany's Janosch Wolf sharing his track for others to manifest with original's and remixes destined for serious dance floor activity. As one half of Sonic Tickle, Janosch has used Multi Tul to channel a trippy funked uppsy prog electronic beat with Zeamoon, Millivolt, Zathura and Kapt'n Abenteuermassig adding their remix touches. Badlands is the perfect introduction to the sonic channels of Multi Tul and has been digitally released on various outlets including Beatport and Juno as of the 14 September, 2016....

Building on the reputation of the diverse outlay of previous releases in this series, Tech Tales 6 once again compiled by Denmark’s Muggi Dane is a compact and twisted contribution that keep you grooving and dancing to all things electronic, progressive, chunky techno and minimal. Bursting at the seams with a mixed bag of 9 tracks, Tech Tales 6 is a relentless beat, tribal at its core and full of rumbling bass lines to make a landscape of rhythms, addictive to continual listens at home or on the dance floor.

Simon Neumann and Janosch Wolf as German duo Sonic Tickle have forged a reputation of creators of psy progressive beats. With energy to burn, 'My Red Syndrome' is another epp created look at all things that get you stomping during both night and daytime hours. The 7 artists featured take on various psychedelic styles all with thumping high paced bpm ranged tracks, swirling and crashing in a journey of galactic musical ping pong. 'My Red Syndrome' invites you to let the dancer come out and explore the energized side of trance with the sole aim of getting you up and shaking it to the beat of a different drum.

With a different edge to that of the first release, the compilation takes the listener on a journey from atmospheric progressive, to driving melodies, and on into funky psychedelic grooves. Quirkier, funkier and definately psychadelic, The Martin Fitzgerald File, electric power pole records second release is a moment in time captured for all to hear.

While 'The Martin Fitzgerald File' is a rare out of stock epp release, we are happy to announce that the compilation is available for free download in whatever format you desire on Electric Power Pole Records Bandcamp pages. Stay tuned for further updates.

 

May 9, 2005 | Location: 2 Hours From Sydney

 

 

 

 

 

Location: 2 hours from Sydney presents new diverse psytrance sounds from a number of up and comming as well as established Australian artists. In addition, this compilation album also provides for new sounds from Europe (Sweden) and Central America (Mexico) highlighting alternate styles in production throughout the world.

The music and artwork is primarily produced by unsigned artists within their own work studio.

Soundscapes vary across the album. Dark kicks and baselines by Hedonix and Third Drop Reflection are also accompanied by the more full on style of overseas artists Temporary Unknown and Tsunami. The use of animal samples by Daheen creating jungle psytrance beats, while Oculus crashes wave after wave of atmospheric trance into a thumping wall of sound.

Two tracks are provided from Sun Control Species (aka Drooid) who also provides his artistic hand at the album´s mastering. After being a regular headliner on the Australian festival and outdoor party scene Sun Control Species currently resides in Europe, showcasing his new work in live and dj performaces, marking his uplifting psytrance tunes for hot demand.

The first release from electric power pole records (eppr), a Sydney, Australian based label commited to supporting local artists via the opportunity of global exposure, 'Location: 2 Hours from Sydney' is an insight into the Sydney scene at the time looking outwards via track releases towards the wider global psytrance community. We are also happy to announce that our first compilation is now available for free digital download in whatever format you desire on Electric Power Pole Records newly created and running Bandcamp page.
